The special screening of the Hindi film “The UP Files,” directed by Neeraj Sahai, was held at Cinepolis in Mumbai. The event featured a star-studded cast including Manoj Joshi, Manjari Fadnis, Milind Gunaji, Avtar Gill, Ali Asgar, Shahbaz Khan, Aman Verma, Anil George and Ashok Samarth. The film received an overwhelmingly positive response from the audience.
Director Neeraj Sahai expressed his gratitude to producer Kuldeep Umraosingh Ostwal for his unwavering support in bringing this film to life. Inspired by the impactful actions of Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, particularly in curbing crime and corruption, “The UP Files” presents a compelling narrative. For the first time in his three-decade career, Manoj Joshi takes on a leading role, portraying a character inspired by the Chief Minister. Sahai noted that Joshi’s performance as Chanakya in the past impressed him, making him confident that Joshi would do justice to this role, which he has portrayed with natural finesse.
Shahbaz Khan, who plays a senior police officer in the film, highlighted the intriguing dynamic between his character and that of Manoj Joshi’s. The film showcases the significant transformations in Uttar Pradesh.
Music composer Dilip Sen praised the theme song, describing it as particularly impactful. He emphasized that the film’s songs are well-integrated into the storyline, complementing the direction of Neeraj Sahai. The film’s subject matter and narrative have resonated well with the audience.

The film, shot in UP, Jammu, Mumbai, and Rajasthan, has Gautam Rai as production head and Bhavesh Jain as production controller, Vishnu Nishad as the art director and production designer, and Suhail Lone as the line producer.
